Armen Antranikian is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles, and a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he received the Jack Nicholson Award and the John Huston Award for Directing. Armen grew up in Germany, and lived in London for five years, where he studied at the University of the Arts London, and developed his interest for art, design, and photography. He was selected by the BFI London Film Festival for their development program, and featured by MovieScope as a 'Director to Watch’. His short film The Girlfriend Game premiered on Short of the Week, and was nominated for Best Short Film at the Champs-Elysées Film Festival. His upcoming projects include Alice Alive, a psychological thriller film, and Between Sheets, a digital drama series. It is his goal is to connect with audiences on a personal level, and, as noted by the Guardian, “make films with universal appeal that will be seen by people all over the world”. Armen is represented by Robert Bookman and Christopher Smith at Paradigm, managers Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Lindsay Williams and Justin Littman at the Gotham Group, and attorney Tara Kole.
